The New York Mets and the City of New York are giving all Mets fans the opportunity to purchase seat backs from Shea Stadium. The Mets will donate their portion of the net proceeds to the Mets Foundation. The Mets Foundation funds and promotes a variety of charitable causes, including educational, social and athletic programs for young people in the community. Commemorate 45 seasons of New York Mets baseball at Shea Stadium with a seat back hand signed by 19+ members of the original 1962 Mets. Signatures include: Craig Anderson, Ed Bouchee, Chris Cannizzaro, Joe Christopher, Cliff Cook, Roger Craig, Ray Daviault, Sammy Drake, Larry Foss, Jim Hickman, Jay Hook, Al Jackson, Ed Kranepool, Ken Mackenzie, Bob Miller, Joe Pignatano, Sammy Taylor, Frank Thomas, Don Zimmer. Your seat back will be encased in a black shadow box and adorned with a Shea Stadium decal as shown in the rendering. This is a limited quantity seatback with only 362 total in existence. Please note the seat back you will be receiving features actual hand signed autographs and not replica signatures as shown in the image. Each seat back has been certified by the MLB Authentication Program and features a tamperproof hologram. Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping.
