The New York Mets and the City of New York are giving all Mets fans the opportunity to purchase seat backs from Shea Stadium. The Mets will donate their portion of the net proceeds to the Mets Foundation. The Mets Foundation funds and promotes a variety of charitable causes, including educational, social and athletic programs for young people in the community. Commemorate 45 seasons of New York Mets baseball at Shea Stadium with a seat back hand signed and inscribed "1986 WS Champs" by Mets great Gary Carter. Your seat back will be encased in a black shadow box and adorned with a Shea Stadium decal as shown in the rendering. This is a limited quantity seatback with only 308 total in existence. Please note the seat back you will be receiving features an actual hand signed autograph and not a replica signature as shown in the image. Each seat back has been certified by the MLB Authentication Program and features a tamperproof hologram. Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping.
